It has been six days since Russia started its invasion of Ukraine with consecutive missile attacks, bombings and shelling. The UN has said that at least 102 civilians, including seven children, have died in Ukraine since the Russian-Ukrainian war began.

While the Indian government is working tirelessly to rescue the Indians, especially the students stranded in Ukraine, a Tamil actress' initiative to help the children in Ukraine is praised by the fans. Amy Jackson made her acting debut in AL Vijay's directorial, 'Madharasapattinam' and later starred opposite leading actors like Superstar Rajini, Thalapathy Vijay, Chiyaan Vikram and Dhanush.

Now, Amy Jackson is trying to help the Ukrainian children to protect them from danger. She has strongly condemned the military attack on Ukraine and is raising funds to rescue children trapped there. Seeking funds for the noble cause, the actress wrote, "I can not even begin to imagine what the children, parents and people of Ukraine are going through.
