Suriya starrer 'Kanguva' is the talk of the town since the first glimpse was launched as the actor's birthday special. He plays the titular role of a tribal warrior in this upcoming fantasy movie. Recently, it was reported that famous cinematographer and actor Natty Natraj is playing a negative role in Kanguva.

Now, trusted sources inform us that renowned Bollywood actor Bobby Deol is on board for Kanguva to play the Antagonist role. We hear that his portions will commence filming next month in the Bangkok schedule. The makers were recently shooting some periodic portions in the forests of Kodaikanal. This news has raised the expectations further for this biggie.

Kanguva is a fantasy entertainer directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Studio Green and UV Creations at a whopping 200 crores. The film is slated to have a grand release in 3D and in ten languages worldwide. It stars Suriya, Disha Patani, Natty Natraj, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, BS Avinash, Kovai Sarala and others.

Kanguva is set in two time periods - present and 1500 years ago. An early 2024 release is confirmed in the promo. Sources tell us that the makers are aiming for a grand Tamil New Year release (April 12, 2024). Devi Sri Prasad composes the musical score, Vetri Palanisamy cranks the camera while Nishad Yusuf takes care of the editing with stunts done by Supreme Sundar.
