Famous bodybuilder Jagadish Lad dies from Covid-19

Renowned bodybuilder Jagdish Lad, who made a name for himself internationally, is no more. Aged 34, he died from Covid-19 complications. His demise has left the bodybuilding fraternity in a state of shock.

As per national media reports, Lad's financial health was not in the pink after he quit bodybuilding four years ago. A couple of years ago, he landed a job as a trainer at a gym in Baroda.
Reports say that his wife, too, is Covid positive. Survived by wife and a daughter, Lad was expected to recover from the infection, considering that a bodybuilder is intuitively expected to have a strong immunity.

Lad in 2014 won a silver medal in the men's category of up to 90kg at the WBPF World Championship. He won a silver medal at Mr. India bodybuilding competition later.
Manoj Lakhan, an accomplished bodybuilder, had died due to the virus a few days ago.
