GV Prakash reacts to Perarivalan release on social media! – Viral tweet

The Supreme Court has released Perarivalan, who was arrested in connection with the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and served 31 years in prison. Now, the Kollywood celebrities GV Prakash and Seenu Ramasamy have reacted to Perarivalan’s release on social media.

Perarivalan was accused of having bought two 9-volt battery cells for the LTTE who executed the conspiracy. Following this, Perarivalan filed a case in the Supreme Court in 2016 seeking his release from this case. Today, the Supreme Court ruled that it was wrong for the governor to delay the decision and ordered the release of Perarivalan using Section 142.

Perarivalan’s mother Arputham Ammal faced a lot of judicial struggles all these years and kept protesting for his release. Now, famous music director turned actor GV Prakash has tweeted, “The success of a mother’s affection..@ArputhamAmmal. Best wishes #Perarivalan #PerarivalanRelease” (sic). Director Seenu Ramasamy tweeted, “After a struggle of 31 years, a mother has won. @ArputhamAmmal #PerarivalanRelease” (sic).
