‘Family Man 3’ Actor Rohit Basfore Found Dead in Forest: Murder Suspected

Rohit Basfore, known for his role in the upcoming web series Family Man 3, was found dead under mysterious circumstances near a waterfall deep inside the Garbanga forest region of Assam. His sudden death has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and among his fans.

Following the success of Family Man 2 starring Samantha, Family Man 3 had generated huge anticipation. According to his family, Rohit had set out on a sightseeing trip across Assam with a group of friends last Sunday. His last known contact was around 12:30 PM that day, after which all communication ceased.

Later that evening, one of the friends accompanying Rohit informed his family that he had suffered an accident. Although Rohit was rushed to a hospital, he was declared dead upon arrival.

Suspicion quickly arose surrounding the circumstances of his death. Reports indicate that Rohit had recently been threatened by Ranjit Basfore, Ashok Basfore, and Dharam Basfore during a heated argument over a parking dispute. Another friend, Amardeep—who allegedly organized the trip—is also under scrutiny.

The police have confirmed that Rohit’s body bore multiple injuries, including marks of assault on his face, head, and other parts of his body. A post-mortem conducted at Gauhati Medical College reinforced these findings. Authorities have launched a manhunt for four suspects who are currently absconding.

The investigation is ongoing, as questions grow louder about whether this was a tragic accident—or a planned murder.
