False rumour about Kamal testing positive for corona

Earlier today, there was a piece of news making the rounds that actor and politician Kamal Haasan has been infected with Coronavirus and that he has quarantined himself at his Alwarpet residence in Chennai till April 4. The baseless rumour owes its origin to a sticker pasted by authorities at the Chennai municipal corporation outside the legendary actor's house.
Instead of pasting the right notice, authorities had pasted a wrong one. As reported by The New Indian Express, "Homes that have suspected cases of COVID-19 affected people are marked as "COVID-19/Do Not Visit/Home Under Quarantine". This is different from the 'self-isolation' sticker that says "We are in Home Quarantine to safeguard ourselves and Chennai from Corona", the type of which is put up outside Kamal Haasan's Chennai residence." Previously, it was the former that was pasted outside Kamal's residence.
It must be noted that the 'Indian-2' actor, his daughters Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan have been self-isolating themselves in separate homes. Kamal had also recently come forward to offer his house for corona medical center.
