Are you planning to secure driver's license, permits or registrations via online?  If yes, be warned that you could end up filling up details and paying a fee on the wrong website.  As reported by a Telugu daily, fraudsters are running a fake website in the name of Road Transport Office.  Its address is rtoonline.com

A well-designed and seemingly user-friendly portal, this one provides blocks from where you can access online applications, fill them up, shell out payment and be cheated.  In this make-believe world, everything comes across as kosher.  You never doubt if it's a fake website.  Payments made on this site won't reach the desired destination.  You will be duped, the news report published by the daily claims.

The real website is this: https://aprtacitizen.epragathi.org
