As Fahadh Faasil-Nazriya starrer much-awaited movie 'Trance' is prepping up for February 14 release, the latest that we hear is the movie has been sent to the Mumbai's revising committee by the Regional Censor Board in Trivandrum.
It is reported that the CBFC officials in Kerala had an issue with an 8-minute long sequence, that the Censor Board feels is hurting religious sentiments. As the movie's director Anwar Rasheed was not willing to remove the sequence, the movie has been sent to the revising committee. The revising committee is expected to see the film today (Feb 11) and reviews the cuts suggested by the Thiruvananthapuram office. If the issue gets resolved before Wednesday, the movie will hit the screens on February 14.
Made on a huge budget, 'Trance' is bankrolled by Anwar Rasheed Entertainments. Vincent Vadakkan is crafting the script. Apart from directing and producing the film, Anwar Rasheed is also handling the camera. Praveen Prabhakar is in charge of the editing department. Oscar Award winner Resul Pookkutty is handling the sound design for 'Trance'.
As the director’s last feature film 'Ustad Hotel' was released in 2012, the anticipation for an Anwar Rasheed directorial is huge. As the movie also marks the second collaboration of real-life couple Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya after 'Bangalore Days', audiences are impatiently waiting to watch their favorite couple on the silver screen.
