Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil are without any doubt the two busiest South Indian actors in demand across India. Recently the duo shared screen space in Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and their presence was one of the highlights of the record breaking blockbuster hit.
Fahadh Faasil played a powerful role in Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa' directed by Sukumar but he appeared only in the last half hour. It was said that his role of SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat will have more prominence in the sequel.
Now it has been reported that director Sukumar and Mythri Movie Makers have brought on board Vijay Sethupathi for a powerful antagonist role in 'Puspha The Rule' which is set to go on floors soon. This news has sparked rumours that Fahadh has walked out of the film irked by the signing of his 'Vikram' costar.
However sources close to the 'Pushpa 2' crew have cited that Fahadh is very much part of the film and has allotted a massive hundred days for the biggie. Since he will appear with a clean shaven head he has stopped signing any new films till he completes his portions. Incidentally Vijay Sethupathi was the first choice for the role of Fahadh in 'Pushpa' but he declined due ot undisclosed reasons.
'Pushpa The Rule' will have Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna reprising their lead roles as Pushparaj and Srivalli respectively while Devi Sri Prasad will score the music. A top Bollywood heroine is also said to be in talks to join the project after Vijay Sethupathi. Stay tuned for more updates.
