Fahadh Faasil to resume shoot of his much-awaited movie

Fahadh Faasil's upcoming movie Malayankunju is one of the most awaited movies in Malayalam. Directed by Sajimon Prabhakar, the project, which is produced by the veteran filmmaker Fazil, went on floors in Erattupetta, Kottayam, on January 28. The shoot came to a halt owing to the second wave of coronavirus pandemic. Now, the latest is that the movie's shoot will be restarting from Friday. It is reported that the team will shoot the indoor portions of the movie from Monday. More details are awaited.
Rajisha Vijayan has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Fahadh Faasil in the movie. Malayankunju will mark the first onscreen collaboration of talented actors. The movie also has Indrans and Jaffer Idukki essaying the pivotal roles. Mahesh Nayaranan, who is the scriptwriter, is also in charge of cinematography and editing. The editor-filmmaker who has tried a hand in virtual cinematography with C U Soon is making his debut as an independent cinematographer with Malayankunju. The movie will mark Fahadh Faasil's fourth collaboration with the multi-faceted talent Mahesh Narayanan, after Take Off, Malik, and C U Soon. Interestingly, Mahesh is also handling the editing and cinematography of the Sajimon Prabhakaran directorial. Kumbalangi Nights fame music director Sushin Shyam has been roped in as the music composer for Malayankunju as well. Editing is by Arju Ben.
