Fahadh Faasil to play Allu Arjun's baddie!

A few months ago, it was announced that actor Fahadh Faasil’s wife and actress Nazriya Nazim will be debuting in Telugu soon, sharing screenspace alongside Nani. Now, the latest is that Fahadh too is set to make his Telugu debut. The National Award winning actor will be playing a baddie in Allu Arjun's upcoming film, Pushpa directed by Sukumar, who has made acclaimed Telugu movies like Arya, Arya 2, and Rangasthalam.
Announcing this news on social media through the film's accounts, the makers said, "Welcoming Fahadh Faasil on board for the biggest face-off." The actor is expected to start filming for the movie soon. Pushpa also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Harish Uthaman, Sunil, and Dhananjay in major roles.
Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa is set in the backdrop of red sandal smuggling in Seshachalam forests. Set in the hills of Andhra, the movie unfurls through a coolie-turned-smuggler. Pushpa will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada on August 13.
Meanwhile, in Malayalam Fahadh has a huge line-up of movies in various stages of production. Malik, Irul, Thankam, Joji, Malayan Kunju and Paattu to name a few.
