News is coming in that stellar performer Fahadh Faasil is playing an important role of an Indian Diplomat in editor Mahesh Narayan`s project which he debuts as director. It was reported earlier in media that Kunchako Boban and Parvathy are playing the lead characters in the film.

The film belongs to the genre of war-drama. It is based on the events that occurred during the evacuation operation conducted by India in the year 2014 to rescue the Indian nurses trapped in Iraqi city of Tikrit when war broke out between Iraqi forces and ISIS to take control of the city. Already the first schedule of the shooting has been completed. It was primarily embassy scenes and was shot in Hyderabad and Ernakulam.

The next two schedule of the film will be shot in Ras AlKhaimah, UAE, and in Najaf, Iraq. Kunchakko Bobban and Parvathy will act in this schedule. The script was worked out by Mahesh and P.V. Shajikumar. Before working it out they had spoken to the people who went through this struggling phase and tried to imbibe it in the script even though it is a fictionalized version.

The film is yet to be titled.
