It's been more than a year since Fahadh Faasil had a release after the superhit movie Maheshinte Prathikaram (February 2016). However, the actor has a couple of movies gearing up to hit the big screens and few other projects to start rolling this year.

Now, the latest that we hear is the actor has committed a new movie with director Marthandan of Paavada fame. Touted to be an out and out comedy entertainer, Fahadh will be seen in the role of a villager. Scripted by Joji Thomas, the upcoming movie will have music by Gopi Sunder and cinematography by Pradeep Nair.

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol producer Sophia Paul is funding this movie and is expected to start rolling by the end of this month. Meanwhile, Fahadh's Take Off, the debut directorial of editor Mahesh Narayanan, is gearing up to hit screens on March 24.
