Actor Fahadh Faasil has wrapped the shoot of his upcoming big-budget movie 'Malik' helmed by Mahesh Narayanan. The movie which has been on floors for over four months now wrapped on Thursday and the filmmakers are keen on releasing it in April this year.
Reportedly, Faadh has undergone a major physical transformation for the flick and he is said to have shed close to 10 kilos of weight and is seen sporting a completely different look. Set in the backdrop of the 1960s, the movie is said to be based on a true story, featuring the actor in multiple looks from 20 years of age to 57 years.
The storyline is centered around a sensitive coastal area and the fight of the minorities living there who are on a constant threat to relocate. The cast also includes actors like Joju George, Nimisha Sajayan, Dileesh Pothan, Vinay Forrt, Indrans, Sudhi Koppa, Chandhunath, and Vinay Forrt in major roles.
The team has roped in Hollywood stunt director Lee Whittaker to choreograph an important stunt sequence. Sanu George is in charge of Cinematography and music is by Sushin Shyam. 'Maalik' is the second directorial of Mahesh Narayanan after 'Take Off'.
