Fahadh Faasil is unarguably one of the most sought-after south Indian actors of recent times. The actor, who enjoys a huge fan base among non-Malayali cinephiles as well, was recently rumoured to be playing the villain in Kamal Haasan's new movie Vikram. Though the film's production house Raaj Kamal Film International maintained silence about the news, now Fahadh himself has said that he is officially on board the action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

The actor confirmed the same during an interview with the Film Companion. It is reported that the actor will be seen playing a politician in the movie. Though more details are yet to know, the fact that Fahadh will be sharing screen space with Kamal Haasan itself heightens the expectations for ‘Vikram’.

Fahadh made his Kollywood debut with Mohan Raja's Velaikkaran. He also played a pivotal role in Thiagarajan Kumararaja's Super Deluxe. The upcoming Kamal starrer will be his third outing in the Tamil language. The upcoming film is expected to go on floors soon.
