It was last year popular director Sathyan Anthikad's son Anoop made his directorial debut with ‘Varane Avashyamund’, which featured Suresh Gopi, Shobana, Urvashi, Dulquer Salmaan, and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead. The film was a blockbuster at the box office. Now, his brother Akhil Sathyan is also making his debut in filmmaking

Akhil Sathyan, who has been working as an associate to his father for the past couple of years will make his maiden directorial venture with the movie titled 'Pachuvum Athbhuthavilakkum'. Actor Fahadh Faasil will be playing the lead role in the movie. Launching first look poster of the movie, Fahadh Faasil revealed that the movie's shoot will resume in April 2021.

Written, directed, and edited by Akhil Sathyan, 'Pachuvum Athbhuthavilakkum' will be primarily shot in Goa and Ernakulam. Produced by Sethu Mannarkkad under the banner Full Moon Cinema, the movie's cinematography is by Sharan Velayudhan. Music is by Justin Prabhakaran.
