The 'Maheshinte Prathikaaram' pair - Fahadh Faasil and Apana Balamurali, are teaming up again for the second time. The duo is coming together for an upcoming crime drama titled 'Thankam'. The movie will feature Fahadh, Aparna Joju George, and Dileesh Pothan in the lead roles.
Interestingly, the talented actor Fahadh is all set to play a thief once again, in 'Thankam'. Fahadh Faasil's character name is Thankappan Kuttamani aka Kallan Kuttan in the movie. As you know, the actor has earlier played the role of a thief in the acclaimed movie 'Thondimuthalum Driksaakshiyum', which fetched him the National film award for the best actor in a supporting role.
Even though details regarding Aparna's character is not revealed yet, the reports suggest that the actress is playing a performance-oriented role in 'Thankam'.
The film is scripted by Syam Pushkaran who last wrote the screenplay for Kumbalangi Nights. Helmed by Theeram director Saheed Arafath, the movie is set in the backdrop of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Mumbai. Gautham Shankar, the Theevandi fame cinematographer is the director of photography. Music is by Bijibal. Fahadh Fassil is producing the movie in association with Dileesh Pothan, Shyam Pushkaran, and Rajan Thomas.
