The problem with hype is that it put things in such a height that reality often has no chance of catching it.

Just take the case of the new extra song in Shankardada MBBS. The entire media has gone gaga over it and made it as if it is something of manna from heaven. So much has been written about it that even if the song had been best song of the decade it would have fallen short of expectations.

But the problem is that the new song is not even remotely good enough. It is typical rhythm-based one with the stress on dance.

Those who have seen it say that it does not live up to the billings. And like an extra finger on the hand, it looks odd and doesn't fit in the scheme of things. The song has also been introduced in the second half of the film, and it also adds to the expectations. But slows down the proceedings.

In the event, the whole thing is a bit of a disaster for the film. There is very little chance of new audiences coming up to see the film just for the sake of this new song.

In the event, the doctor seems to have got his medicines mixed up.
