Just two months back, Facebook announced its parallel dating app as well. The firm stated that it was to help build long term relationships and not just mere hookups. Just when the Facebook Dating was announced stocks of other dating sites like Tinder plunged down by 17 percent.

Now the hot update is that Facebook has begun rolling the app to its employees to test the app for any bugs or uneasiness in using the app. However the company also has informed the employees that they cannot use the app for dating co-workers and that Facebook’s company guidelines still apply while using the app.

While this internal testing of the app by Facebook among its employees promises a high probability of it getting released, it should be noted that many apps haven’t been released even after testing. Facebook has also revealed that you can have a separate dating profile which will be made visible to people attending the same event to encourage offline connections.
