The recent data breach has left Facebook a big dent in its brand image. Here comes the latest confirmation from folks at Facebook, that the social media giant scans user chats and photos in its Messenger.
Reportedly, this is being done to regulate the content that violates its standards so that it could be taken down. However, Facebook also has clarified that it does not listen to voice or video calls. Well, this might annoy users who thought that the Messenger conversations were not being monitored at all.
It is worth noting here that information of some 87 million users (560,000 in India) were compromised because of the data breach in which Cambridge Analytica was involved.
