With the Coronavirus running rampant all over, wearing a face mask has become common for people venturing out, despite the uncomfortable feel and breathing issues it can generate. Last Thursday, a man in Wuhan got chest pains after going for a jog wearing face mask.
A 26-year-old had decided to utilise the lockdown lift and in an attempt to turn fit, he ventured out to jog and was wearing a face mask. Though the mask made it tough to breathe, he ignored it and decided to jog for 6 km instead of his usual 3 km. He ran 4 km and then reached home.
After reaching home he had chest pains and was taken by his family to the hospital where it was revealed that his lung had collapsed as he did intense workout while wearing face mask. As said by doctors, the face mask pressured his lungs, causing improper oxygen flow and has advised against usage of masks during intense workouts.
