In the trailer for 'F3', Venkatesh and Varun Tej play husbands to Tamannaah Bhatia and Mehreen, respectively. The wives drag them into a cesspool of money-making fever, driven by their greedy elders from their mother's side. Writer-director Anil Ravipudi conceives a host of quirky situations where eccentric characters played by the likes of Vennela Kishore (as a pan-Indian, self-styled junior artist), Rajendra Prasad and Ali.
Seen also in the trailer are Raghu Babu and Sunil, two of the characters who probably are sympathetic towards the plight of the husbands. Murali Sharma has a serious role, as his monologue on the place of money in modern times shows. Sonal Chauhan seems to be playing a film actress who is joined by Pooja Hegde's song to add the oomph factor. There is also a dream song in which the wives dream of owing a fortune.
Produced by the Dil Raju-Shirish duo, this comedy entertainer makes adequate references to 'F2' (read 'Anthega Anthega'). A character mischaracterizes the film as a sequel to 'F2', which 'F3' is not by the director's own admission in the past.
With music by Devi Sri Prasad, 'F3' has Venkatesh suffering from night-blindness. Comedy ensues also because of the amusing mannerisms of Varun Tej, who suffers from stammering and a possible nervous issue.
Set to hit the screens on May 27, 'F3' is touted to be the biggest fun film of the season. Brace up, folks!
