F2 pips NTR, VVR struggles to survive

F2’ was the last Sankranthi release (it came on Saturday) among the straight Telugu releases. Yet, it has posted the best collections in the US as of the end of Sunday. The comedy entertainer reportedly mopped up USD 900,000 and is expected to be at one million dollars by the end of Tuesday.

This performance is in total contrast to that of 'NTR Kathanayakudu' and 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama'. The former could make less than USD 861,000 in five days. It was the first Sankranthi release (Jan 10). As expected, the Ram Charan movie turned out to be a BO disgrace, having made just about USD 240,000. There is no hope for it to show any improvement.

If unanimously positive reviews have perked up the chances of 'F2', nothing could come to the rescue of 'VVR', the much-trolled entertainer, and 'NTR', the plain biopic.
