As Mohanlal`s Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, has already crossed the 50 crore mark, Prithviraj's Ezra is also fast galloping towards the mark. The horror thriller has reportedly beat Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol at the Kochi box office.

While Ezra directed by Jay K took only 17 days to gross Rs 1.89 crores, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has reportedly grossed Rs 1.88 crores from its 38 days theatrical run. Well, that is indeed a new record for the movie!.

Set in a Jewish backdrop, spanning from the 1940s to 2016, Ezra has Priya Anand in the female lead along with Tovino Thomas, Sudev Nair, Babu Antony, Sujith Shankar, debutante Ann Sheetal and Tara Kalyan in pivotal roles.
