In what appears to be a terrorist incident, 22 commuters in West London's Parsons Green tube (train) station were severely injured.
A major manhunt was issued by the London police to identify the perpetrators of the incident. Even though no arrests have been made so far, the police have identified the origin of the blast from a bucket in the train which was confirmed later to be an improvised explosive device. Police have acquired what appears to be a circuit board from the scene of crime which supports the speculation of terrorist activity.
The British Prime Minister Theresa May took to Twitter to express her feelings toward the shocking incident. "My thoughts are with those injured at Parsons Green and emergency services responding bravely to this terrorist incident," the prime minister tweeted.
This comes as a disappointing to the citizens and people worldwide as the British nation had been victim to three terrorist fatalities earlier this year.
