As per reports, Ramakrishna was watching Balayya's latest movie at Shyamala Theatre in Rajahmundry. He suffered a brain stroke all of a sudden and collapsed. By the time he could be taken to the hospital, it was too late.
Survived by wife Sirisha and two children, Ramakrishna was successful as an exhibitor.
Meanwhile, 'Akhanda' has been running to packed houses all over. Producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy's decision to advance the release of the Boyapati Srinu directorial has paid off richly. Had the film been released for Christmas or later, this sort of mania might not have been there. This is the first true-blue mass film in about two years. The audience are going gaga over its content and technical aspects.
