Nithya Menen is having a good time at the box office, with 'Thiruchitrambalam' in Tamil and '19(1)(a)' (Malayalam) releasing in quick succession. The former's Telugu-dubbed version 'Thiru' is playing in theatres.
Speaking exclusively with IndiaGlitz, the 'Bheemla Nayak' actress says that 'Thiru' is a soulful film in which she has got to play a meaty role with the likes of Dhanush, Prakash Raj and Bharathiraaja. "It is not a routine commercial film but something you would want to watch with families. For years, families are going to watch it on TV," she predicts.
Recently, Nithya was rumoured to be planning to get married. She scoffs at the baseless rumour and clarifies, "The rumour was created out of thin air. Nothing was true. I don't know when I will be getting married because that's future (laughs)."
Talking about unusual choices such as 'AWE', Nithya suggests that she listens to her guts. "I don't overthink. When you are in a creative industry, you can't think too much about the result. If something excites me, I just do it. That's how I have always operated. And this attitude has kept me happy always," Nithya says, adding that she is always happy to give an audience to newcomers. "I want to encourage new talents. That's why I have produced a film like 'Skylab," the 'Janatha Garage' actress signs off.
