In his interview with IndiaGlitz, Nikhil Siddhartha says that he doesn't support any political party in particular.
When we ask him about his pro-BJP tweets, the 'Kirrak Party' actor says, "I support any leader who works for a cause. For example, I support KTR garu who responds to requests. Narendra Modi is a great leader. Likewise, Chandrababu garu and Jaganmohan Reddy garu have their own causes. I admire different leaders for different reasons."
Nikhil adds that he felt sorry when he went to Amaravathi to shoot for 'KP'. "The capital needs so much more funds from the Centre. I am from Telangana but I feel for all parts of the country," he says.
Why did he tweet against Leftists' anti-Diwali sentiments recently? "There are so many causes of pollution. It's not proper to target the tradition of any particular community without addressing the bigger causes. That's all I meant to say," he ponders.
"I don't tweet about politics. I tweet about social causes. We shouldn't think we ought not to react because something doesn't affect us. There may come a day when it will start coming to us," he says. He advises people to vote for the right candidate and not be swayed by money.
