Nassar has in the past said that Mollywood actors behave like actors while other actors behave like stars. IndiaGlitz recently caught up with Nassar to know what he thinks about it now.
Saying that he still stands by his words, Nasser added, "Each culture has its own beahviour patterns. Here, we like stars to behave like stars. In Kerala, people treat actors like actors. So, they behave like actors."
When asked about the financial setbacks he received as a producer, Nassar said, "The one mistake I have ever done in my career is that I got into producing movies. My wife Kameela has been supportive on the professional front during my thick and thin. When I lost money on my films, it was traumatic. I didn't have the time to take up acting assignments at that time. My wife became my manager, she started speaking to my producers. Even now, she takes care of my dates."
"When I was financially low, people in the industry stood by my side morally. I didn't want to seek monetary help from anybody. The 2003 film 'Pop Carn' with Mohanlal was my last film as a producer. When I faced problems, Mohanlal stood by me," Nassar said.
