Abhinayashree was recently evicted from Bigg Boss Telugu. In this interview with IndiaGlitz, the former actress and TV personality talks about receiving a raw deal from Bigg Boss in terms of footage.
Excerpts:
When Bigg Boss came my way, I saw it as an opportunity to begin a new innings in the entertainment industry. Soon after I got eliminated, I spoke to my mother against the protocol. She told me I was not shown in any of the episodes. Without the viewers getting to see what I was doing in the House, how could they have assessed my personality?
Why was I even called to participate in the show when they didn't want to show me? I was being myself in the House. I didn't fake emotions or something.
Geetu's attitude hasn't been liked by many in the House. She picks up quarrels without any rhyme or reason. She got the 'Fighting Card' and passed it on to me saying that she feels she would have fights with me. The footage didn't find its way into the episode.
Revanth is not only cunning in playing the game but is also dominating in nature. Geetu might also be cunning but she is honest enough to say that she is in the House to win the game, not to make friends.
Mine was a fake elimination. My footage was not shown properly or adequately.
Coming to my film industry journey, I feel a bit sad that my stint as an actress came to an end too fast. Your longevity or otherwise in cinema is a function of the decisions you take after weighing the pros and cons. I have done special songs with the likes of Balakrishna garu in 'Legend'.
I don't have friends in the film industry. My association with film people is limited to my work. When my co-star and comedian Venu Madhav was terminally ill, I tried to inquire about his health. But nobody knew much. His demise is a great loss.
