Check out the hilarious new promo of Ranveer Singhs 83

The promotions for the highly anticipated sports drama '83' are going on in full swing. After the teaser and trailer of the film got tremendous response from fans, Ranveer Singh shared a new promo on Sunday. The promo teased a hilarious scene from the movie which was inspired by an actual exchange between Kapil Dev and Balwinder Singh Sandhu.

In the video shared by Ranveer, Balwinder Singh Sandhu can be seen narrating an incident from the World Cup 83 final when a case of miscommunication between him and Kapil Dev lead to a hilarious situation. Sandhu shared, “Kapil, as usual was talking in English while in England. He was giving instructions to everyone. He came to me and said, ‘Sardar, bahut tight. We will keep a fielder there, there and there’ and left. I asked him, ‘where?’ but he said, as if offended, ‘This is the final, take it seriously.’"

The same scene from the movie plays out as Sandhu narrates his story. At last he clarified, “Kapil had set up the field positions in his head but I wasn't aware where he had set up fielders in his head. He thought I was having fun." This left everyone in splits at the event as visuals from the scene about the same incident are played with Ranveer as Kapil and Ammy Virk as Balvinder."

Ranveer captioned the promo on Instagram as, "Cricket Experts are still trying to decode the field positions- 'There, There and There!'”
