What does 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' teach best? Many things, perhaps. But not every lesson can be replicated, practically speaking. Not every filmmaker can dream to make a two-hero film, much less a multi-starrer. Not every producer can invest a fortune in a story he trusts. Not everyone can mount extravagant action blocks. But there is something most filmmakers can think of doing by taking a leaf out of 'RRR' and its director, SS Rajamouli.

The director made it a point to hold workshops for Jr NTR and Ram Charan before the magnum opus was taken to floors in 2018. Tarak has revealed in his latest interview that a questionnaire was given to him to assess his understanding of the character, Komaram Bheem. "When a workshop like this happens, unknowingly, subconsciously, you have all these embedded into the system of an actor," the 'Aravindha Sametha' actor told Variety.

He added that workshopping for a role not only makes the job of a director easy but also lets the actor explore his acting abilities on screen.

This is something even a small-budget movie can do, especially with new or relatively less busy actors. Sandeep Reddy Vanga workshopped both Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey for 'Arjun Reddy'. It showed in their chemistry and performances.

Any director with a thorough understanding of his characters, and an in-depth knowledge of what he wants to manifest on the screen can do workshops.
