Actor Vijay who was recently seen on screen in the Atlee directed Bigil will be seen next in his 64th movie which is directed by Managaram and Kaithi maker Lokesh Kanagaraj. Produced by XB Film Creators, the movie's first schedule was completed in Chennai and recently the second schedule was wrapped in Delhi.

Next, the team is shifting action to Shivamoga, Karnataka and Chennai, and now, even as the first look and title of Thalapathy 64 are yet to be revealed, the movie has made a huge progress. The satellite rights of Thalapathy 64 has been acquired by television giant Sun TV for a whopping price.

Thalapthy 64 also stars Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan who had debuted in Petta, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu, Gouri G Kishan, Antony Varghese, Brigida, Sanjeev, Srinath, Sreeman, Soundarya Bala Nandakumar, Ramya Subramanian and has music by Anirudh.
