Actor Suriya who gave back to back blockbuster hits like Soorarai Pottru and Jai Bhim is gearing up for the release of his next Pan India film Etharkkum Thunindhavan. As the promotional works are under process Suriya recently reached Hyderabad to meet his Telugu fans.

At the event, Rana who is also a close friend of the Singam actor shared an unforgettable incident with him that sculpted him into a better actor. He said, "10 years back Suriya happened to see one of my films in the editing room. He then took me in his car and roamed all of Hyderabad for a non-stop four hours and said, 'What you are doing is not acting, you are just pretending'.

"He took a class on acting for the four hours which helped me to do Bhallala Deva in Baahubali and Daniel Sekhar in Bheemla Nayak with utmost perfection, he added" Suriya who happend to speak to his Telugu audience also felt happy for being a part of Rana's growth.

Coming back to Etharkkum Thunindhavan, the film is produced by Sun pictures and directed by Pandiraj of Pasanga fame. The film stars Suriya, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Vinay Rai, and an ensemble cast including Sathyaraj, Rajkiran, Madhusudhan Rao, Saranya Ponvannan, Devadarshini and Soori amongst others. The music is composed by D. Imman, with cinematography handled by R. Rathnavelu and edited by Ruben.
