Among other more serious things, the pandemic was also responsible for taking away the joy of enjoying films on the big screen with a crowd of enthusiastic people. However, now that things have become normal, people can once again go to cinema halls and the movie business has returned to its pre-pandemic state.
Amidst this, actress Esha Gupta talked about her first cinema hall experience after the pandemic. According to a recent report in ETimes, Esha said, "After the restrictions were lifted and a I saw a film in a theatre I realized that cinema binds families together. Sitting there eating popcorn, passing food amongst each other... just the whole experience made me realize why cinema is life for us.”
Recalling the first time she watched a film on big screen, Esha said, “I can recollect the first time I saw a film in a cinema hall, which was Jurassic Park (1993). I don’t remember much, except the fact that watching dinosaurs coming alive on screen made us all scream. Another experience of watching a film on the big screen that has stayed with me is when I watched Interstellar (2014). I had seen it at a theatre in London. Watching films in theatres is my favorite thing to do with family and loved ones."
