Anjali was on her way to becoming one of the top heroines of Tamil cinema after appearing in super hit films like Katradhu Tamil`, Angadi Theru`, Engeyum Eppothum` and Kalakalappu` when unfortunate problems in her personal life forced her to take time off , which cost her Kanchana 2`, Aranmanai` and a host of other films.

A few months back Anjali came back with a bang and signed Appa Takkaru` with Jayam Ravi, Maapla Singam` with Vimal and Iraivi` with Vijay Sethupathi. There is news doing the rounds on the internet that Anjali is missing and the shooting of Maapla Singam` has been halted due to her non availability.

When we got in touch with Madan the producer of Mapla Singam`, he clarified that there is absolutely no problem with Anjali and in fact a song has been scheduled to be shot with her and Vimal on sets erected at a huge cost in the coming week. Well, it is good news for all Anjali fans that all is well with the talented actress who with the lineup of films she has on hand will surely be back at the top where she belongs.
