The coronavirus effect has taken a huge toll on the entertainment industry and there is a big question mark when shootings would resume and then too whether A list actors would risk coming to sets. However a new film production does not have that headache as they have cast a robot Erica as the main lead and well she is immune to COVID 19 and all other viruses and bacteria.
According to Hollywood Reporter already a portion of the film titled 'b' has been shot in Japan in 2019 and the rest of the portions will resume in June 2021. Erica the robot created by Japanese scientists Hiroshi Ishiguro and Kohei Ogawa has been taught method acting in her artificial intelligence programming and she actually plays a robot in the film which should come naturally to her as well.
Producer Sam Khoze stated to HR “In other methods of acting, actors involve their own life experiences in the role. But Erica has no life experiences. She was created from scratch to play the role. We had to simulate her motions and emotions through one-on-one sessions, such as controlling the speed of her movements, talking through her feelings and coaching character development and body language,”
The story of 'b' is about follows a scientist who discovers dangers associated with a program he created to perfect human DNA and helps the artificially intelligent woman he designed (Erica) escape.according to HR. The human leading man who plays the scientist and the director and the rest of the cast will be announced in early 2021.
