‘Enugu’ Trailer: Looks like a complete package of emotions, action

The trailer of ‘Enugu’, which is the dubbed version of the Tamil movie ‘Yaanai’, has been cut to evoke distinctive emotions. A poignant song plays in the background as serious emotional and action scenes pan out… The moments involve the film’s lead man, played by Arun Vijay, and those dear to him. From Priya Bhavani Shankar to Ammu Abirami, the emotional family drama has a host of important female characters.

As the trailer comes to a close, the male protagonist says something effective and evocative, setting the tone for the feature film, whose release date will be finalized soon.

Directed by Hari of the ‘Singham’ series fame, ‘Enugu’ has a title with a metaphorical flourish. Also featuring Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, and others, this one has Ramachandra Raju of ‘KGF’ fame as a villain.

Some emotions are universal, especially those in films set in semi-urban or rural backdrops and boasting of heavy-duty scenes. A family scene between the lead man and his family members, played by the likes of Radhika Sarathkumar, suggests that ‘Enugu’ is a complete package. 

Also featuring Aadukalam Jayapalan, Imman Annachi, Bose Venkat, Rajesh, Aishwarya Bhaskaran, Sanjeev Venkat, and Pugazh, the film has music by GV Prakash Kumar. With stunts by Anl Arasu and cinematography by Gopinath, ‘Enugu’ is a promising drama.
