Rangam

This Jiiva-starrer offers fresh dose of entertainment. Telling a story interlaced with the trappings of a political suspense thriller, this KV Anand directorial, dubbed from Ko in Tamil, is an excellent Yuvan Shankar Raja musical as well. Rangam is also special for Karthika, who reinvents herself in this one.

Seema Tapakai

Allari Naresh doesn’t cease to make us laugh with his movements and lingo. Playing a full-on comedy-hero in this film, he spoofs the dialogues of Balakrishna, Chiranjeevi and even Jagan’s Odarpu Yatra. Maa Amma Kastha Jeevi, Maa Akka Sookshma Jeevi, Maa Bava Badugu Jeevi... Mari Mee annaya? Chiranjeevi, and many such dialogues will have you in splits.

Shakthi

Junior NTR's outstanding dance performance, the sheer energy in his acting and many more moments make Shakthi a good one. NTR's fans liked the film for the way it projected NTR. Junior's dialogue 'Upar Hai Bhagawan...Picture mein Salman...Tere Samne hai Shaktimaan' clubbed with lengthy Hindi dialogue makes one go wide eyed with appreciation. NTR's dialogue 'Nenu raka poyunte, tomorrow ayipoyedi.. meaning 'rape' ayipoyedi' evoked good laughter in the theatre. When NTR introduces himself as Rama Rao from Nimmakuru, theatre went berserk. The money spent on the movie reflects in the locations, costumes, sets and action sequences where several vehicles were blown away.

Teenmaar

In this interpretation of Love Aaj Kal, Pawan Kalyan sweeps you off your feet in two distinct roles. As Michael Velayudham and Arjun Palwai. Trivikram Srinivas' dialogues and Mani Sharma's music make the day. Jayanth C Paranje leaves his mark. Many view the film as the first Pawan Kalyan film since Khushi that was not embellished by inappropriate elements.

SRK to do Chiranjeevi's Tagore

This is the time for crusading against corruption. The Anna Hazare effect has smitten Bollywood. That's why we are seeing the revival of AR Murugadoss’ Ramana (which was made as Tagore by VV Vinayak, way back in 2003) in 2012.

Poola Rangadu postponed

If you thought you can watch one after another film for three days this Sankranthi season, you are in for a disappointment now. The news is that Poola Rangadu has decided to follow in the footsteps of Adhinayakudu, Nippu, Snehithudu and god knows how many more films.

Venky will outshine Vijay, Salman: Malineni

Mollywood's Dileep, Kollywood's Vijay and Bollywood's Salman all did Bodyguard, but the story, feels Gopichand Malineni, was born for Victory Venkatesh. The director of Venky’s new film, which is slated to release on Jan. 13, has this deep conviction, as he has seen the actor enact the emotions so perfectly.
