Manchester City pay tribute to ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ with a viral picture

Prashanth Neel’s KGF: Chapter 2, starring Yash, is making waves across the country even as the movie is inching closer to minting Rs 700 crore at the global box office.
Manchester City’s official social media handle, @Mancity, shared a poster containing the images of three of their star midfielders - Kevin de Bruyne, İlkay Gündoğan, and Phil Foden, dubbing them the franchise’s ‘own KGF.’ This was later shared by Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar, the owner of Excel Productions, KGF’s distributor in the north belt, on his Instagram story. “When your team and film find each other,” he wrote alongside.
Written and directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF: Chapter 2 released nationwide on April 14 in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, opening to rave reviews. Besides Yash, the movie also stars Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in pivotal roles.
