In this section, we are going to review the songs from 'Enemy'. Divo Music is bringing out the songs, one number at a time.
Padathe
Singer: Prudhvi Chandra
Lyricist: Anantha Sriram
Thaman goes for a peppy song, which has a familiar style of its own. The composer should have given us a more foot-tapping number. The tune sounds old and somewhat noisy. Prudhvi Chandra's voice is enjoyable, while Anantha Sriram's lyrics are impressive. Shot on Vishal and Mrinalini Ravi, the song serves as an entertainer.
Tum Tum
Singers: Harini Ivaturi, Sahiti Chaganti
Lyricist: Ananth Sriram
Ananth Sriram uses catchy colloquial terms like 'Tum Tum', which gets repetitive in the course of the song. The lyrics capture the jaunty mood of a wedding song in our movies. Harini and Sahiti give a spirited lift in their own way. The singers are absolutely talented. At the beginning of the song, there is a feel of the 'O Bava' tune from 'Prati Roju Pandage'. As the song proceeds, the tune comes into its own. All in all, an enjoyable number.
Little India
Singer: RR Dhruvan
Lyricist: Anantha Sriram
Thaman's beats may not be pulsating but they are congenial for dance moves. The pacy song borrows elements of the AR Rahman music, besides getting a bit boisterous like an Anirudh musical. RR Dhruvan's voice is somewhat muted for a song of this nature. The patriotic vibes of the song are cool, thanks to Anantha Sriram's thoughtful lines that are delivered in a cheerful language.
