Adding to the long list of movies opting for a title change to avail the concession announced by the State government is Emttan Mahan.

It may be recalled that the State government had recently announced an exemption from entertainment tax for movies titled in Tamil. Cashing in on the announcement by the State government, several production houses opted for a name change.

Adding one more is Nasser-Bharath starrer Emttan Mahan. The movie directed by Metti Oli fame Thirumurugan has been re-titled as Em Mahan.

The movie released all across Tamil Nadu on Thursday and reportedly opened big. The movie featuring Nasser, Bharath, Gopika and Saranya is about the encounters between a strict father and a fun-loving son.

Thirumurugan, who shot to fame directing the mega-serial Metti Oli, is wielding the megaphone for the movie.

Sathyajothi Thygarajan is producing the movie for Sathyajothy Films banner on its silver jubilee year.
