For second time in a row, Emraan Hashmi doesn't get to play the title role in a film by Vishesh Films.

First it was 'Gangster' where Shiney Ahuja played the title role, though each of the three protagonists in the film (Shiney, Emraan and Kangana) had a good part to play in the film's success. Now in the next film from the same production house, 'The Killer', the central role of a killer is played by Irrfan Khan while Hashmi plays a cabbie!

Incidentally prior to 'Gangster' and 'The Killer', Hashmi had played only a cameo in 'Kalyug' and still had managed to get all the 'ceetis' and 'taalis' for his 'Alibhai' act that had managed to get the film a good initial. Now with 'The Killer' already looking hot and both Irrfan and Emraan having good fan following, the success of the film seems well on the way!
