Emraan Hashmi decides to take first step in production

'Azhar' actor Emraan Hashmi has taken a new road in his career, he has turned a producer with his home banner Emraan Hashmi Films. Recently, Emraan said in a statement, "I'm really excited to turn producer in collaboration with Tony D'Souza, who is an extremely talented filmmaker and a great friend". He also promises to give audience some great content with equal entertainment value.
Sources say that, Emraan Hashmi previously joined hands with D'Souza for the movie Azhar' which was a blockbuster. While, D'Souza opened up saying that he is happy to join hands with Emraan for something new to take up. D'Souza concludes saying, "After the success of 'Azhar', Emraan and I are happy to join hands on this venture. While we cannot disclose much at this juncture, we are currently finalizing the script and the casting".
On career basis, Emraan was last seen in the movie 'Azhar' which is a biopic on cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin's life, the movie revolves around the high and low as the captain of the Indian cricket team.
