Serial Kisser Emraan Hashmi was currently in the land of Nizams (Hyderabad) shooting for his upcoming movie 'Azhar'. He was shooting in Osmania University when about 2000 men disrupted the shoot. They were a large group of aggressive union members. Emraan is working on a biopic which is based on former Indian captain Mohd. Azharuddin's.
Actor Emraan was then taken to a room and locked in there until the police came. Others stars like actresses Lara Dutta, Prachi Desai and Nargis Fakhri who were on their way for the shoot were sent back to the hotel.
The directed of the movie Anthony D'Souza opened up saying, "We had all the necessary permits to shoot in the university. But there was some kind of miscommunication among the institution`s 32 unions. Nearly 4,000 union members were stationed outside the gates since early morning. It was quite scary". There was a four-day shoot that was schedule for the courtroom sequence at the university. This was finally disrupted. The cast and crew are yet to decide on the next plan of action.
