Emraan Hashmi is soon going to appear alongside actress Nikita Dutta in an Amazon Prime original horror flick. The film is titled 'Dybbuk' and its trailer was released recently. It is an adaptation of 2017 Malayalam film 'Ezra' which featured Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Amazon Prime Video wrote, "Something lurks inside this ancient box of secrets. Do you have what it takes to unleash the contents of this Dybbuk? Watch #DybbukOnPrime, Oct 29."

The plot of the film will feature Emraan and Nikita as a couple who just shifted to a new place while grieving over a personal tragedy. They bring an antique box in their new home and start having paranormal experiences afterwards. 'Dybbuk' also stars brilliant actor Manav Kaul in an important role.

Talking about the film, Emraan Hashmi said, “Dybbuk will mark my first digital feature film, and I am extremely excited to have taken this journey with my favourite genre and with Amazon Prime Video as the streaming partner."

He added, "The film is well-crafted and has quite a few jump-scares with a great storyline. We are bringing this film to our audiences at a time when the scarefest will be in full swing owing to Halloween, and I can’t wait for audiences to enjoy Dybbuk and make it a part of their watchlist for the season.”
