After the stupendous success of his maiden directorial 'Lucifer' actor Prithviraj is once again teaming up with Mohanlal and Murali Gopy for the movie's sequel 'Empuraan'. Murali Gopy is currently in the writing process and Prithviraj had recently shared a photo taken from their interaction session. The actor, whose excitement is quite evident in his twinkling eyes, wrote "At the writers den! My eyes are so wide coz I’m thinking how in the world am i going to shoot what he’s just told me! #L2"

'Empuraan' will see Mohanlal returning as Khureshi Ab’raam aka Stephen Nedumbally. Prithviraj, apart from directing the film, will be reprising his role as Zayed Masood. Most of the actors from the original star cast, including Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Baiju Santhosh, and so on will be retained in part two as well.

Produced by Aashiravd Cinemas expectations are definitely riding high on the Lucifer sequel, which is reportedly being made in a larger canvas with a massive budget. Recently, lead actor Mohanlal had revealed that the pre-production activities of the project will begin by the end of 2020.
