Veteran actress Lakshmi turned emotional in her portion of mother role in Vamshoddaraka`. The role offered to this highly talented actress was similar to the one she played long ago in a Telugu film.

Yet the emotional strength of the role in Vijaya Raghavendra and Meghana Raj starring Vamshoddaraka` made the veteran actress to feel very emotional again.

The concept of this film is coming back to roots written effectively by producer Aravind brother Kumar. In this film the reason for Lakshmi to get emotional is because of the hero Vijaya Raghavendra role seeking mother and mother land instead of settling down abroad. We are missing our roots and going mechanical. In such a circumstance this kind of film would definitely a torch bearer says Lakshmi.

Chikkanna is director of this film Vamshoddaraka` that has completed major portion of shooting in Mysore. PKH Doss is using helicopter shots for some of the scenes in this film for five days. V Manohar scores music for the film.
