Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are famous Hollywood stars. They co-starred in Sony's 'The Amazing Spider-Man' franchise and were in a relationship for about four years. Now, Andrew has revealed in a recent media interaction that Emma Stone called him "a jerk" for lying to her about the recent Spider-Man movie.
The previous generation Spider-Man stars Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield returned for an extended cameo in MCU's 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' starring Tom Holland as the lead web-slinger. Garfield denied that he was a part of No Way Home all along with the film's development until it turned out to be true after the theatrical release.
Spider-Man: No Way Home was a huge Box Office success and the main reason for its whooping billion dollars collection was Garfield and Maguire's cameos. Andrew and Emma have always been good friends though they are not together. Recently, in an appearance on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, the actor didn't open up about the role to Emma owing to the secrecy of his and Tobey's cameos.
Andrew stated, "Emma kept on texting me and she was like, ‘Are you in this new Spider-Man film?’ And I was like, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about!’" The 'Tick, Tick... Boom!' star added, "She was like, ‘Shut up, just tell me.’ And like, I honestly… I kept it going, even with her, it’s hilarious,” he said, adding, And then she saw it (the movie) and she was like, ‘You’re a jerk!'"
