'Emergency' is going to be a musical drama with five songs, says Kangana Ranaut

After the astronomical failure of her last film 'Dhaakad', actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to bounce back with the much anticipated film 'Emergency' which features her as the lead actor as well as the director. The film is going to be a political drama with Kangana playing late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Sharing an update on the project recently, Kangana said that the film is going to be a musical drama with five songs in total and one of them is over ten minutes long. In one of the her Instagram stories, she wrote, “Choreographer on set today…director can take it easy ha ha…by the way we have 5 songs in #emergency it’s a musical drama. I don’t know why people don’t expect songs in Emergency…I love music, I might just have the longest song ever above 10 minute …For interval block…and great music @gvprakash.”
Talking about the film, Kangana had earlier stated, "Emergency reflects one of the most important periods in Indian political history which changed the way we view power and that’s why I decided to tell this story.”
'Emergency' looks promising aa it is based on an interesting subject matter and has an amazing cast to real life characters. Apart from Kangana, it will feature Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, Mahima Chaudhry and Milind Soman in pivotal roles.
